Worst Year Ever!!!

My name is Becca, I’m going to tell you about a few different things. Like pulling the wool over someone’s eyes. It means to trick a person. When your in a court the judge wears a wig made out of wool.

I think it’s like a video game. Here I’ll show you how. Say that there are two people and a judge in a court room. Each of the people will tell the judge their side of the story. After that the judge will make a wise decision, even if it doesn’t seem like it to the person who lost.

When I was in third grade I always tried to pull the wool over my teacher’s eyes. Here is an example, I would always tell her that I had to go somewhere after school, like Brewer or Bangor. I would also tell her that I totally forgot and I absolutely could not stay after.

That was pretty much how I got all B’s, C’s, and of course D’s. That year I got in so much trouble. I was grounded for a very long time. For the rest of that school year the teacher and my mom wrote to each other in a small shiny, green journal that ruined my streak of not staying after. That was my worst year until fourth grade.

In fourth grade I got in two times as more trouble as I did in third grade. It was like a horrible nightmare!!! I thought it would never end. My teacher would always be saying idioms. I could never sit still, so she would ask me if I had ants in my pants. Only, until one day I was up so much that she yelled at me and said sit down.

When she wanted me to answer a question that I didn’t know, I would beat around the bush, (try to avoid) but I was always behind the eight ball, or out of luck.

One thing she would always do is check with her better half about EVERYTHING!!! Sometimes it would get annoying, but I had to deal with it all year long. It was the worst year ever!!!
